Here's my problem: I bought my laptop with Vista Home Premium, then I upgraded to Vista Ultimate using the Windows Anytime Upgrade Disk (after shelling out $159 for a license key - BIG mistake!!!). I wanted Vista Ultimate so I could use the "Windows Complete PC Backup" feature which is supposed to make a complete image of the system disk. I tried to do this and everything seemed OK ... I used an external USB HDD for the backup and Vista took just 20 minutes to backup my 43 gigs of files to the backup drive. When I went to look in the "WindowsImageBackup" folder on the USB drive it said the folder was empty!!! But when I looked at the amount of free space remaining on the drive it was approx. 20 gigs less than before I did the backup! Why do I not see anything when I look in the WindowsImageBackup folder??? Any help is much appreciated!
Off topic ... BUT ... I think the funniest film I have ever seen in my 67+ years on this planet is "Big Business" where they are Christmas tree salesmen ... I literally almost had a stroke I was laughing so hard!
Laughing ... and also crying ... I first saw it about 35 years ago & that was my reaction. I think it was made in the 1920's, but alas nothing has changed about human nature ... sic transit gloria mundi ! ENJOY their genius!!!
Vista Ultimate & Business does make a complete image of your c:\ drive and you can use it to put the PC back to the way it was before you had problem{s]
I have used it many times.
It is called complete PC backup , a little known fact .
