Intel Management Engine Interface versions
I have a XPS 8910 and when I run SupportAssist either locally or via the webpage it says I am up to date on all my drivers. I'm a bit perplexed about this particular driver though as online (in the downloads) it shows this version:
Version: 1914.12.0.1255 ,A04
Last Updated Date: 03 Oct 2019
And according to Device Manager I have:
1904.12.0.1208 dated 1/21/2019
It looks like the one online is newer but yet SA doesn't say there is an update? Any ideas why?

Current Chipset drivers are required.
BIOS updates also change version of AMT.

Also note that INTEL has started to remove drivers so 9.6.0.1014
and 10.1.0.1008 and 11.3 are no longer available for download.
These versions of the F6 mass storage driver were deleted from INTEL Sept 13, 2019.
Version 17 is recommended for newer systems. There are conflicts with 1903 and older versions of RST.
Systems running driver version 15.9.x, 16.0.x, 16.5.x, or 16.7.x should update to the latest version.

I also have a XPS 8910 and my version of the Intel MEI driver in Device Manager is the same as yours. I do not use SupportAssist, I prefer to update drivers on my own so SA is disabled. I don't know how that version in Device Manager got installed perhaps from Windows version 1903 upgrade. My records indicates the last version I installed was 11.7.0.1054.
I can't tell you why SA doesn't say there is an update. Since the importance of the newer version is only Recommended and not Urgent like the previous version I think I will stay with what I have now.
By the way, I don't know if this is a typo, but the Dell webpage version now is A05 and the Last Updated Date is 08 Aug 2019.
