I got my hands on Dell XPS 8500 Motherboard (Dell 0YJPT1), and I want to boost its performance.

So I updated its BIOS to A14 (the latest one on Dell's website) and put my old i5 3470S and 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 (those are what I have at the first time).

I did some research and found that Xeons can be used on this motherboard (https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/16872968, or just search XPS 8500 xeon at userbenchmark's search bar)

I put Xeon E3-1270v2, but then I got 4 beeps error (which indicates RAM error). Tried RAM troubleshooting by seating each RAM on every slot, still got the 4 beeps error. But when I revert it to i5 3470S, the PC works fine with 4 sticks of RAM.

Then I look again at the link above (https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/16872968), and found some things:

1. Same motherboard type, but the BIOS date is 20180625, while mine - the latest BIOS from Dell's website - is 20180308
2. The RAM is clocked at 1600MHz, while mine is locked at 1333MHz. This motherboard doesn't have any overclocking utility or load XMP Profile as far as I know

So my questions are:

1. Is it really possible to use Xeon on this motherboard?
2. Is it possible if my RAM doesn't compatible with Xeon?
3. Are there any custom / beta BIOS that I can use?
