I bought an XPS Tower 8940 last April for my work. My work consists of video editing in After Effects. Because the pre-render times were slow on its original 16GB RAM. I expected this and upgraded to 32GB (2Rx8 DDR4 UDIMM 3200MHz XMP) from the Dell Webshop. 

However my projects are still stuttering. Upon reaching out to other VFX editors and sending them my file, they could run it smoothly with roughly the same specs as my computer. The memory usage clocks to 99% when it should sit at around 60% compared to others running 32GB RAM. I ran a windows memory diagnostic, which did not turn up any problems.

Could anyone shed light on how to check for other hardware issues? I already reached out to technical support & customer service and ordered *another* 32GB RAM stick to boost my system to 64GB. As it stands, I am doubtful this will solve the issue.
