Hello,

last week the battery of my Dell XPS 9560 died. I had the fast-blinking orange light and laptop won't turn on without power adapter nor stay on if unplugged.

I ordered an original replacement battery and I replaced it.

The blinking light was gone and once on windows I saw the battery charging but it stopped at "62%  available (plugged-in)" in the battery icon.

When I tried to unplug the power adapter the laptop immediately turned off.

The bios recognise the new battery and says excellent health status.

I tried unplugging the battery and pressing the power button for 30+secs, and tried to restore the bios settings to factory but none of the above worked.

Any clue on what's going on?
