Yesterday I was using my computer when it randomly shut down. I eventually was able to turn it back on by holding down the power button, but was then unable to find any available networks to connect to. I went to my device manager, unhid my network adapter, and scanned the device for hardware changes. The wifi reconnected after a few seconds, and was fine until the next time I shut off my computer.

When I turned on my computer for the first time today, there were again no networks to be found. I used the same fix as I had before, and was able to do so every time my computer shut off, until my laptop shut off again in the middle of use. I thought it would just be another issue of scanning for hardware changes, but this solution no longer works.

How can I get my laptop to  a) stop shutting off without warning, b) get my wireless network adapter to work again c) keep the wireless network adapter running without having to scan for hardware changes every time I turn it back on?

The adapter is a Killer Wireless, any advice helps!
