XPS 9570, no HDMI output on Windows
Hello, the HDMI output on my XPS 9570 is not working. It works without problems on Ubuntu but not on Windows.
It worked without problems but for a couple of months, it hasn't been working.
The display shows in device manager and I see the settings in Windows Advanced display settings but when connected the screen is blank, showing "no signal".
The display is working as I tested it on different machines and I also tried different HDMI cables so it's definitely a problem with Windows drivers. I've read other similar issues and tried the solutions outlined in those posts and still nothing.
Here are the things I tried to fix the problem:
- BIOS rollback to different versions (1.15, 1.17.1, currently running 1.23)
- Update of Intel/Nvidia drivers both from Dell website and from Intel's, Nvidia's with different versions
- Clean install of Intel/Nvidia drivers
- Clean install of Windows
- BIOS factory reset
- Swapped back to Killer wireless network if for some reason that was conflicting.
- Factory reset of Monitor
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My only solution right now is to buy a thunderbolt hub with different display outputs, but I would really like to avoid that.
Thanks
