Alienware 17 R5, rear Thunderbolt / USB-C port completely unresponsive. 1 year warranty expired October 2019.

Cannot use for USB or Thunderbolt devices. Completely unresponsive port.

Steps I've taken:

• I've updated bios
• tried all the latest drivers.
• Reset the bios.
• Reinstalled windows
• Hardware scan shows no problems.
• Unplugged the battery and cmos battery to reset
• Removed UCM-UCSI ACPI Device in device manager and reboot

Is there a Thunderbolt firmware update or chipset driver that solves this? Any other ideas on how to fix this?
