I'm looking for ways to speed up our NDMP backups.  One Idea I had was to setup a private 10G network to the NDMP accelerator.   Does anyone do this?  I have a file system that is approx 10T with about a 40% change rate per day.

Any ideas would be welcome.

FYI, The best throughput I have been able to measure - possibly inaccurately, is 344 GB/hour, but that's over 10G to a virtual NDMP accelerator.  On FC to tape I can get much higher rates. (from the same array)
