create on vnx

Hi

I need to create raid 5 pool from 20 disks on CX4-480.The pool will create 4 raid 5 private RG.How i can know what disks are on each private rg?

Hi,

There is no way to view the details of the internal RAID layout on CLARiiON / VNX as it is handled by FLARE.

Hi,

For best performance, select drives from all available buses with different DAEs.

You may refer, CLARiiON Best Practices guide

when i create the pool the order i choose the disks influential the private rg?
