RAID 5 question

I have a new CX3-40f with six arrays (including bus 0, enclosure 0).

I'm going to be storing 4000 Exchange 2007 mailboxes on it. I'm planning on using RAID 5 with 36 146GB 15K drives across all six arrays.

In the BPG it states that "For high bandwidth workloads, RAID 5 groups with more than 10 drives should be avoided."

My exchange is going to have about 22 LUNs, so I don't need a lot of size in one shot.

Three questions:

Does Exchange qualify as "high bandwidth"?

Would it be best to use 3 RAID 5 groups of 12 disks each?

And also, can I use the first 5 drives in one of these RAID groups without any side-effect (other than a losing a few Gigabytes of space)?
