@ejn63 Thanks for the reply! I saw this before and that's why I'm actually here. On the linked site, the GPU for the 5525 model is given as AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, mine is R7 6800H. And I don't wanna use Crucial, instead I wantto use Kingston Furry Impact 4800MT/s DDR5 CL38 SODIMM rams as 16x2 or 32x2 (if its possible) because of the CL factor and speed and compatibility.
If you want Kingston, use their memory configurator -- do not buy the Fury RAM, which is designed for systems that have adjustable memory parameters and XMP support that your Inspiron system does not support. Fury RAM will result in a memory error and failure to boot.
@ejn63 Got it, and thanks for the advice. Kingston doesn't seem to have any other 4800 mt/s options. Also, Crucial shows 5600 MT/s as the recommended ram in the link you sent above. This confused me. Are 2x32GB 5600 mt/s really compatible with my laptop? Or should I go with 2x16GB 4800? And they also another option for 2x32GB 4800 mt/s. Which one is ok for my laptop.
Any RAM faster than required will generally work fine and downclock to the speed the CPU supports. Expect RAM faster than you now have to do that.
Crucial guarantees compatibility when you purchase using their configurator and direct from them. For purchases anywhere else, be sure you understand your seller's restocking fees before making a purchase.
