Hi,

I bought a Dimension 4550 about a month ago (P4-2.4 533,128MB PC2700, 30GB HD, 16XDVD, ATI 9700).  Right away, I added an 80GB HD and an additional 512MB PC2700 RAM.  I added a Lite-on 52x burner a week ago.  I leave my computers on all the time, with power-saving features kicking in after an hour of inactivity.  Anyway, the computer has been running perfectly until two days ago, when it started locking up.

I opened the case all the way and am running it like that to see if overheating is the problem, and it is.  There's a fan on the video card that's working fine. What should I add to cool this system sufficently?  I didn't really think about beforehand since you can buy the 4550 configured from Dell with all the options I added, but perhaps Dell adds additional cooling items for such a configuration.
