The 7300 agp 8x is backward compatible to agp 4x.

OK Orange, did you notice that the card needs a power cable connected to the back of that card  ?  Did you get a molex Y cable to connect it to or did the card retail box come with one that you can connect it to a power connector near by  ?

You can also get the VGA card information by running powerleap's upgrade configurator ( www.powerleap.com) - it shows quite a bit of detail.

Thanks all for the help.  I am still unable to get the card to work.  What I have done is get a video card not compatible with my computer.  Now I need to find a video card that is compatible.  So here are the questions.

 

Specs for agp on my computer are 4x but the max information is 32bit.  It seems most video cards that are AGP 4x are 64 bit.  So if my computer only supports 32 bit memory interface vid cards that are AGP 4x then that is the best card I can purchase.  Everything has to be focused around the 32 bit memory interface right?
