OK I need some serious help here... I just got the Dimension 8400 with the Nvidia Geforce 6800 video card.  I am one of the lucky ones that has stuttering sound and a jerky mouse with any of the new drivers for this card.  I have been using the Omega 1.6177 drivers, which fixes the sound issues.

 

I now have a new problem, whenever I try to play AVI or MPEG files, or some games, I get a blue screen with the "NMI Parity Hardware Error."

 

Somebody PLEASE help, if you have this card, what drivers are you using?

Pentium 4 630 3.0 gig

1 gig of Ram

80 gig Sata Drive

Soundmax Integrated Sound

Promise ATA 133 controller card with 200 gig ata Maxtor
