Has anyone suffered from problems with System Restore? I have tried to restore on several occassions only to find that the date "1899" comes up as todays date and there is no calendar from which to select an earlier restore point.

Most times this has happened, I have been able to select an earlier date using safe mode and running scanreg with the help of tech support. The last time this happened, I wasn't able to find an ealy enough restore point and had to go through a "dirty" install.

Perhaps a patch is available?
