My screen doesn't light up anymore (or rarely); you can slightly see the elements on screen by looking very closely but it is like looking into a dark room. When miraculously working, my screen has a black corner on the lower right hand side which becomes excessively hot. Is this common? why does this happen? what are the solutions? I'm totally lost! My PC works fine with an external monitor though! Really, apparently it must be just the backlight, but I'd really like to understand: what's in the lower right hand corner of the screen making it so hot and black?
