I am using a Latitude D600 and when I boot up I get the following message.

 

DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32|VXDIF.DLL is not a valid windows image.

 

The IT guy in my office was not able to help me.  I reloaded the apoint.exe program but it gives the same message.

 

I get this message everytime I boot up.  This started on at the weekend.  I had been running fine with this laptop for two months.

 

Any ideas?
