Ripped and downloaded Mp3s and wavs sound scratchy and distorted. Have already run troubleshooter, and no help there. Sounds are scratchy in windows media player, media monkey etc. Also, when mp3 or wavs etc are transferred to portable device they too sound distorted. Systems sounds are ok. Dvd's played sound fine. Audio cds sound fine too.  I seem to have the latest drivers as recommended. Ripped mp3's and wavs had the highest quality settings. All downloaded mp3's were legal. Does anyone have any ideas?
