m15 R5, keeps shutting down on its own

Question

I recently bought a new m15 R5 2 months back. Now I am facing issues where 'Slide to shut down' suddenly pops out of nowhere and the laptop shuts down on its own. I don't know what is causing this issue. I think it's due to an issue with the power button as it mostly happens when I place the laptop on my desk while it's on.

Yep, The machine will automatically shut-down itself for a variety of reasons...it's 'self-preservation'It sounds like overheating. Meaning, I was using my laptop on top of a blanket...NOT good. It can't breath. Now, I use  mesh laptop stand, it tilts too. $15. Ensure you have the latest Bios from Dell too...

Firstly I had thought of the same reason for shutting down, but, it doesn't seem to be the case. It would shut down even if I started it like just 2 mins ago
