Just another data point for those considering the purchase of the 2405FPW monitor.  I just received mine today and it's been running for several hours, no problems.

 

- Dated October 2005

- Rev A05

- No dead pixels

- No stuck pixels

- No high-pitched squeals and I'm REALLY sensitive to that

- Perfectly positioned image

- Brightness and Contrast set at 50 when it arrived, looks good.

- Tiniest bit of visible waviness when screen has large areas of white (60Hz flicker?).  Otherwise, I don't notice it.

- Small "sweet spot" (seating position) where image is brightest but this is my first LCD...not used to that.

 

I was already running at 1200x1600 on a 20" CRT monitor so it's not a huge change in screen "real estate" but the image is incredible.  Haven't tried any games yet....too much work to do.  :-)
