System 32 File Folder
Ever since I got my Dell Dimension 8300 in January 2004, when I turn the computer on, the screen shows the "System 32 File Folder". I have tried various msconfig efforts & checked startup settings, but I can't figure out how to stop the obnoxious file folder from popping up each time I start the computer. It seems like Dell would have noticed this when they checked the computer before shipping. Thanks.

The bug that "System32" folder is unexpectedly displayed and it makes computers restart seems to have been solved by updating to "CreativeLabs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Patch v.RC1." I recommend to verify in advance whether or not it supports your computer and OS configurations. Or, you will please find an appropriate downloadable file at your local Dell web site.
