Question about drive cleaning. I like most of you are of the opinion it is best practice to allow the tape library to manage tape drive cleaning.

What im wondering is if this can causee problems in networker? I ask because I noticed when launching the cleaning from the library admin console that NW is unaware that there is a tape in the drive. I confirmed this through the GUI as well as with the nsrmm -C command. Could tthis cause an issue if networker tries to mount a tape to the drive for a backup while a clean is running?

I searched the forum and could not find anything to specifically address this, although there seems to be a consensus that allowing the tape library to manage cleaning is a best practice.
