I am hoping to purchase a Dell system. At the moment I have an internal modem in my PC but am using an external modem for Broadband when building my PC with Dell do I need to purchase an internal modem.
As long as you have broadband there really isn't a need for a dialup modem. The only exception I can foresee is if you need to send / receive a fax or your broadband provider also offers dialup service. I've used my DSL provider's dialup on one or two occasions when their regular broadband service was down for maintenance upgrades.
