Bluetooth Problem
After receiving my XPS in October 2007, I connected all my Bluetooth accessories successfully and enjoyed them until one day in March 2008, when I tried to connect to my headphones, they wouldn't connect. Neither would my Interlink Bluetooth remote media controls work although my cursor and page controls on the same remote worked fine. Also my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard worked fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers repeatedly and all worked fine until I rebooted then, again they would not connect. I contacted Dell repeatedly and all 10 or more of the techs did exactly what I had already done with no success. I've now invested about sixty hours in trying to resolve this problem to no avail. Thinking it may be a software conflict; last week I opened msconfig and started disabling all unnecessary tasks but still no go. Thing is, sometimes I boot up and everything connects fine until I reboot and the problem is back. I am now turning to other Bluetooth users in hopes that someone in the world can help. Dell is also still trying to figure it out.
