PowerEdge T620 RAID Controller

Question

I have acquired T620 without a RAID controller and i have PERC H200 from another server. PERC H200 is not listed on T620 specs sheet and it looks almost the same as H310 which is listed on the specs sheet. I need advise if i should install PERC H200 anyway or  purchase PERC H310.

H200 might work ok, but it is not supported on the T620. I'd recommend using the H310, as it is validated hardware for the T620. If you have an issue that requires you to call Dell, the first thing they will say is that you need to remove the H200, they can't support an unsupported configuration. I would strongly recommend using the H710 instead, as it is a much better controller. than the others.
