I have a Dell PowerEdge T310 server with four hard drives configured as raid 5. The raid controller is an embedded Perc S130. I added the 4th hard drive as a hot spare but into 60% the rebuild failed. Now when I enter the OMSA it says Raid Failed. All four hard drives will flash amber at the same time and stay on for about 3 seconds and then go back to flashing green. This happens every 3 to 4 seconds. I have not rebooted or gone into the raid configuration because I'm too worried with the server not booting back up. Any idea with what is going on? Also in OMSA all the physical drives say online and ready.
