Fedora Core 7 and OMSA

Hello,

I just purchased a poweredge 840 server and am trying to use the OMSA tools with Fedora Core 7. Is this even possible?

I read the wiki and how I should "hack" the bootstrap.cgi in yum to read el5 instead of fc7 and hope from there that it works. I however cannot get it to load anything in to yum.conf in order to edit it to read el5.

Has anyone had any experience with this that could walk me through it?

Another problem I am trying to eliminate is the blinking amber/orange light on the front of the server. With Windows or another supported system I am sure that is the nice Dell blue color, but the blinking orange signifies something wrong when there is nothing persay wrong, other than a non-supported operating system. Any thoughts or fixes for this either?

Thanks!
