I have just received the laser printer 1320c and tried to install it through LAN. Unfortunately it won't work, although I followed the

"too short"-manual. I inserted the CD and installed the network installation option. A new IP was generated and I can open the printer

through my webbrowser by opening the printer's IP. But I do not find the printer in the printer menu in e.g. Word or so. There is just

my usb ink printer, but not the new laser printer.

Then I tried to install a new network printer, but it can't be found, neither with the IP nor by crawling the network.

So, up to now, I am really angry and do not know, what to do. I plugged in the usb cable and then it works. But I would prefer to install it in the network, so that it is not necessary that my PC is switched on.

 

Could you please help me...?
