Where can I submit feedback to Dell Engineering regarding suggestions to make something easier for the user or to point out something that has broken functionality?
This would be for Dell hardware and/or Dell software.
Hi Cameron, without knowing exactly what you are proposing, here's my generic answer.
You are in the right place to give feedback to Engineering right now, these forums are monitored by engineers and developers that work on Dell Systems Management hardware / software such as iDRAC, Repository Manager, Lifecycle controller, etc (as I'm sure you know by now since you are pretty active). On TechCenter the forums work best when you can post in the right forum (we have more than a dozen - see all of the categories on the right side navigation at delltechcenter.com, click on your topic, then click on the forums tab).
I work for Dell and can pass on feedback (assuming I know the right person to route it to).
For broken functionality this is a decent place if it's a problem that would affect all users. If you are having a hardware issue that is specific only to you (like if one of your fans is broken) you should contact Dell support.
There's also one more platform we have called Ideastorm.com where you can suggest an idea and get others to vote on it. Popular ideas have a history of getting implemented when there's a critical mass of votes.
