Hi,

I'm new to dell servers (used HP in the past) and i'm a little bit confused which tool I have to use to compare the installed driver/firmware versions of my R710 to the latest available updates from the online repository without restarting the server.

I already used the Lifecycle Controller to update firmwares but afaik I have to restart the server to check for updates?

I had a look into the Repository Manager and were able to compare a local repository with a online repository. But how can i compare installed drivers/firmware with the repositories?

I read abput the SUU and tried to export it into a folder using the Repository Manager but it failed and I'm not sure if this will be the tool I'm looking for.

I've also installed the Openmanage Server Administrator but does it inform me about necessary driver updates?
