Change NAS Server VLAN and IP Address

Hi All,

We are in the process of change the IP Address and VLAN of Unity NAS server but NAS server name will not change.

Question is, will it require us to rejoin the NAS server again to AD? Will DNS AD record change automatically when we change the IP in Unity?

Hello ErwinF,

The Join to ad is not needed in newer versions of the OE.

I am actually drafting the procedure on changing the VLAN and IP since its a huge production NAS. I just noticed that the KB 000010849 article does not mention the join to AD step. Wonder if its still needed.
