On the Dell EMC Unity Support Page i only see the Unity OE 5.5.2 (29 Oct 2025) Upgrade File, but not the Unity OE 5.5.3 to patch against CVE-2026-21418. I'm logged in and I see the new Unisphere CLI versions from January 29th, but not the Upgrade File 5.5.3. Is anyone else experiencing this?
We had planned an upgrade and I had downloaded the image earlier in the week but it was not the one with the *.gpg extension. I just logged back in and now none of the 5.5.3 are available. Our security team wants us to apply the patch this weekend, but we can't download the update. Also Unisphere does say the latest version is 5.5.3, but the link in Unisphere doesn't work either.
The communication of this withdrawal and then respin as version "...057" was a disaster and has intensified our discontent with certain aspects of the Dell Support Organisation.
Another "trap" one can run into is that this warning only comes up in the "Perform health check" of the actual 5.5.3 upgrade and no information before, so that I had to regenerate my keys (the current ones were from 2022) in a hurry to still be able to upgrade the Unity during my sunday maintenance window:
Thanks for letting us know. It's sad that the community has to tell us this and not Dell themselves. The whole debacle isn't so much about the problem and the patch being withdrawn, but more about the communication with customers. I don't think anyone would have minded if Dell had issued an official statement. Now there's a lot of frustration.

Hello alex345345,
If you have an active warranty on your unity system then you should be able to access this link to get the upgrade file. https://dl.dell.com/downloads/Y7MMF_Dell-Unity-OE-(Operating-Environment)-5.5.3.0.5.046-Upgrade-file.gpg
