McAfee update question
Hello, last night i got a McAfee virus update and with this particular installation, I had to restart the computer. After rebooting, I got a windows message on the task bar that windows firewall was disabled. I of course corrected that immediately but can anyone tell me why windows firewall would have been turned off in the first place?
Also, I noticed that the McAfee icon on the desktop had moved to a different spot....that seemed strange. I checked everything to see if anything else was out of kilter and everything is up to date; virus scan, windows updates, ran a sweep with spysweeper...there's a new icon on McAfee firewall that says, lockdown. I guess there was some major updating with that.
I have windows xp sp2.
