My computer has been slowing down considerably the past week and the CD stopped working. Once i put a CD in the drive, it lights up and starts spinning but nothing happens. Afterwards, I tried to access the restore points and I get a message saying that i dont have administrator privelage on my own laptop!. When i tried to restart my computer, it tells me that i need the following file :ntoskrnl.exe

I cant reboot the system since my CD drive wont recognize the system reboot CD. what should I do? Help......
