64-bit compatible device drivers
I tried upgrading my Inspiron-530 desktop from XP-Home to XP-Pro-x64 and wound up with missing drivers for Ethernet/SMBus. Running the Vista compatibility check software from Microsoft found something similar; I need to upgrade my SMBus driver to something that is 64-bit compatible.
My model has the Intel Q6600 Quad chip which is 64-bit native and a Q31/Q33 chipset and I have 8GB memory @ 800 MHz loaded.
Does anyone know where I can find 64-bit compatible device-drivers for my machine? I'm guessing that anything for 64-bit Vista would work in a XPx64 environment.
Help!
thanks

If they exist you will need to identify your chipset model, and Ethernet model and then go to the Intel site to see if there are drivers available.
