I reformatted my computer awhile back and then whenever i turned it on it would keep asking if I wanted to reboot from the windows cd. So I decided to do a clean installation of windows xp home edition again to see if I could get rid of the problem. Stupid me forgot to backup my files. So I thought I had lost them. Well I went to the C: Drive and then to Document and Settings and I saw all the User folders from before I did the clean installation. When I tried to open them it says that access is denied. I searched on many search engines and all the solutions said to turn off simple sharing but I don't know how. So I searched how to do it and the way it tells me apparently doesn't work for the home edition. I do have a lot of my files elsewhere like on floppys and such but there is a lot that I want to recover so if there is a way to access those files please tell me! I would appreciate any help!!
