If you are talking about multiple windows in IE, open IE, click on tools, Internet Options, Advanced. Scroll down the list until you see the selection "Reuse Windows for Launching Shortcuts". If the box is checked, uncheck it. Click apply. This will allow you to open multiple windows.

I use three email programs.   If I switch the previous one closes.  I would like to keep all three open at the same time.  'Reuse' was clicked.
