PLEEEZZEE could somebody help....
I recently had my system upgraded to Windows XP. The computer was working absolutely fine but asked me to set the date and time, which I did. I later moved the system upstairs and suddenly I was being asked for a password during the fire-up. Basically I get the opening language on the black screen then it states "error date and time". I have the choice to ESC or ENT, either way I am taken to a blank screen with a box in the centre asking for a password. I have been advised that this may be the Administrator Password but I'm not sure. I cannot get any further than this point.
I have tried removing the battery and this has not helped, it just played a continuous beep!

Sounds like the Motherboard Battery has failed . . you can get a replacement at any Drug store or Supermarket.
When you replace the battery, unplug from the wall.
Unless you have set a different one, The password would be "blank" . . just press enter with nothing in the password box.
