Hello all,

I had some problems with my laptop so I decided to format it. I started from the simple way and I had to try multiple ways to do it and it won't ever work. Now my computer can't load vista at all. Here are the steps I did:

- I used the vista dvd given with my computer for a smooth restore. It keeps freezing either at "completing installation" or even after with a black screen.
- I tried to boot in safe mode to see what happens, it stops from loading at windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys
- Then, I ran the command prompt application to just "format c:" in the simple way, it works perfectly though i can't install vista correctly after this.
- Not knowing what to do next, i used the Dell partionning disk to completly erase everything on my hard drive and making new partitions. Again, it worked perfectly but I can't still install vista.
- I tried my girlfriend's dvd who also got a dell laptop, it won't work either.
- I ran the Dell diagnostic, it's not supposed to be a hardware problem and I have my laptop only since 5 months.

Do you have any idea to what to do now? Thank you for your answer, it can only help in my situation.
