I have a friend that has a Sony vio. It is corrupted.  Cannot get to the rstore portion to make a CD and sony will not give him the CD, must buy.Tried all the usual to find and fix errors ( no good)and to keep this short, can he use my Dell xp cd on his computer to do a repair?? He has his COA.
