Outlook Express

I'm back. I have tried everything that Dell, you and others suggested to get my Outlook Express to work. It went down when my modem went out, and I haven't been able to get it back up and running. Can it be unfixable? I've restored, reinstalled - 2 times. I've dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's, but it keeps telling me that I have the wrong user ID or password. They are right, all settings are right, but nothing has worked to let me receive or send mail. And during all this, I've lost what games were in the original package. I didn't even notice until my granddaughter came to visit and wondered where they were. The hard drive says they are there, but can't seem to get them back. Would like to have a miracle about now.

You could contact your ISP and set up a NEW user ID and password.  Then configure OE for the new ones.

To get your Microsoft games you may need your OS CD.  Go to Control Panel; Add/Remove programs.  Go to the button or tab for Window Components.  In here take any check out of  Accessories and Utilities. Click Next etc.  Re-boot.

Now reverse the process to re-install Accessories and Utilities, which includes the games.
