PC Reboots Itself Randomly!

Hello. My desktop is barely a few weeks old and I'm having some serious problems. The computer reboots itself and unpredictable times, meaning I can't necessarily recreate it predictably. I could be ripping some of my music, or playing a vidoe game, or just listening to music. My understanding is that this is probably a problem with drivers, but the machine is so new I can't see how I could have drivers that are incompatible yet! Nevertheless, I did upgrade both the audio and video drivers and I still get the same result, random reboots. Any suggestions?

Have you downloaded anything real big that a virus could get in? I had a problem like that on my note book, It would restart every now and again, not rondomly, turned out I had a blaster worm virus.

Get norton or mcafee internet security or other software with a virus scanner.

try to right click my computer, select properties, select advanced, select faults and deselect the reboot option if something is wrong

There is a possibility that your computer could have a worm (its like a virus).

My PC seems to be clear of viruses, I run and update Norton regularly. It hasn't found any viruses yet.
