Problem with Windows Media Player 10 - can not rip to mp3 format
Hi, wondering if any other users on a Dell machine (Win XP SP2)having problems using WMP 10 and trying to rip CD to mp3 format which is now available for this version.
When I try to rip, I get warning/error message
WMP cannot rip the track because a compatible mp3 encoder is not installed on your computer.
I upgraded from wmp 9 to wmp 10. Can rip in wma format but not mp3.
Reason why I asked is others are able to do so but are not on dell pcs. One othe person I know of is same having problem and he too is on a dell.
Thanks
WW
