I've been a late adapter to SP2 after reading all the initial horror stories...and I still see some from time to time.  Yes, I'm a bit dubious.  A message began popping up about two weeks ago that SP1 support will be discontinued in early October.   I just received my SP2 install disk from Microsoft; I have an external hard drive which I regularly perform complete backups.   I have a Dimension 8300 and Zone Alarms Security Suite. 

 

Any other advice/procedures before heading down the path. Also, any SP2 settings that I need be made paraticular interest.
