i ran a chkdsk scan and the following message came up after its completion:

I guess that article does not apply then....
As I searched around, it became more evident that this is likely a RAM issue. Many resolved it by removing a stick of RAM where they had 2.
You may want to run a memory tester just to check.

i downloaded and ran windiag. i have a partial result of the test because the test it seems would not complete:

which one did you mean? 1) i've checked out its pdf and docmemory diagnostic seems not to be able to function with my win xp home 2) docmemory spd reader?
