trying to migrate files from WinXPPro to Vista machine using the Belkin USB cable and "easy" file transfer utility.  Soon after the process starts I get an error on the XP machine: " error in scanning your data. Easy transfer will close"..... and that's it....no explanation, help, etc.  I've tried using an external HD for the transfer...same thing.  have tried turning off all fo the anti-virus, firewalls, etc...no change. Tried varios versions of Migwiz.exe...nothing.   Appears to be a common problem with no solution judging from all of the incidents on various forums.  Whoever solves this one is a hero!
