Windows Explorer Seemingly Random Crashes
At random times, ususally when I'm organizing my files, Windows Explorer will randomly crash, and when I restart it, it'll be fine. This can happen multiple times a day or not at all. I can't check the error logs right now since I dual boot with Ubuntu(even KDE4(still in heavy development) is more stable than Vista), but if anyone else has come upon a similar problem, it would be helpful.
I'm on an Inspiron 1520, have all the updates installed (including SP1, hoped it would fix it), and have an Nvidia card. It started happening about a month or so after I got my laptop, I've reinstalled Windows completely since then.
If you need extra info, just ask.
Yeah, still in Linux, but I figure I'll search around for an Explorer replacement for when I do lots of file management, since it's mainly annoying to go and browse back to where I was. xplorer2 lite seems pretty good, and I'll also use Dolphin(KDE4).
If anyone has a real solution, or another good explorer replacement, post please!
P.S. Why doesn't Dell Forums allow superscript and subscript html tags?

My laptop does exactly the same thing as does my girlfriend's HP laptop. Windows Explorer shuts down and then restarts itself. You are right, this happens several times a day. But, it doesn't seem to harm anything and reboots itself pretty quickly. Its a lot better than the full-blown crashes that also happen each day. Just another Vista bug.
