Windows Media Player (frustated)
Recently my windows media player has been acting up. Evertime I open wmplayer it causes my computer to run slow. So first I check out my task manager and notices that wmplayer was using 100% of my cpu.
Than I thought my media player might need to be reinstalled, so I reinstalled wmplayer 10. That didnt help, so than I tried to installed wmplayer 11 and that didnt help. So I rolled back my media player to wmplayer 10 and I noticed that it would work fine for about a minute and than it would start acting up again.
So, than I started thinking that my computer might have some type of virus. I ran mcafee virus scan and didnt find anything. So if you guys might be able to give me some advise as what I should next. I would appreciate it.
CPU Specs:
Dell 8400
3.2 mhz Intel 4
2 gigs of memory
Nvidia 7600 OC (BFG Geforce)
P.S.
I also checked if any other of my media player had the same problem, but they all work fine. (iTunes, Realplayer, Divxplayer, Nero)
