I am looking to the forum for help on Windows XP activation.
I have helped my mother setup an Inspiron 6000 laptop which she now has with her on holiday somewhere in the middle of Australia, specifically for the purpose of editing here day to day photography. Unfortunately I forgot to activate Windows XP before she left and she only has 10 days left to register.
Is there a way that I can advise her of the activation product key rather than getting her to fnd somewhere in the middle of nowhere to dial up? They have a satellite phone so I shoud be able to SMS her the info.

Thanx!
Windows XP comes pre-activated on your Dell computer.
If for some reason MS software needs to be activated, she will need to contact MS and do it herself, you can't do it w/o the PC in front of you.
